NFL Cap projected to be over $300m next season

You’re listening to Dr Pierce, too? Is that what he’s talking about or is he talking about stem cell therapy?

Or is it:

Dr Chao -“if they get anything out of him for a year, maybe two. Him completing that contract is a Hail Mary”. He agrees with me. I think he’s done guys. Ugh.

Current Cap Situation

Chart made with Cap Hit/ Cap Limit. With the cap going up 7.5% annually

It looks like a bird. The purple is the beak and the red is the eyes. Blue is top of the head and grey is bottom.

Is this chart stating that we have 20% dead cap scheduled for 2030??

Yes that is correct.

Projected cap in 2030. $400m

Dead cap nearly $80m from Kerby and Jamo. $40m each.

those numbers will NEVER hit the books. They will be cut or traded before then

I disagree, I sure hope Kirby can continue his career, but if he can’t, the dead cap from Kirby will be a lot smaller and hit a lot sooner, but if it’s not a career ending injury, it’s quite likely he’s extended or plays out his contract. Same with Jamo.
