Nah, he’d probably require a trade-up. But we know Brad will do that. Stewart is even less likely but he fits us like a glove.
But not everyone on that list is a first rounder to Detroit…per what @Thats2 just said.

Right. Sawyer is a no-brainer for what we like, he’s just not worth that high of a pick. Doesn’t have 1st round juice. I’m really happy to hear we see it that way.

In my mind, “crush the can” is very much a 3-4 type principle that will always be part of what we do. Key to stopping the run, which is the DLs first responsibility. You can’t play DL for Detroit if you can’t play the run. 1-gap, 2-gap, whatever the responsibility that play, you not letting anyone through, especially the QB. The edge contain is 100% as important as the middle. These are non-negotiable in the D, including for Shep.
Outside of Sawyers T Rex arms… I’d love any of the other 4.
L Jackson and D Alexander would sure add some juice to our DL in the first couple picks.

That’s one of the reasons I love Harmon so much. Excellent at playing the run while attacking. Not a lot of guys can do that.

And it’s wild because athleticism isn’t his calling card on tape. I mean he’s not a bad athlete, but just seemed to be an average one. Definitely gonna require a rewatch.
