Yea unfortunately the LFL is dead. Or ā€œx leagueā€ it was trying to rebrand to.

Paused during covid. And that basically did them in. Lost a bunch of sponsors. Tried for 1 season in 22. Basically went bankrupt. They keep trying to get enough money to play but havenā€™t been back since.

Probably because of the UFL and new NFL Flag football league stealing what little market there is for summer football

The worst pro bowler ever was Jeff Saturday. Benched by the Packers but in the pro bowl. Also one of the most overrated players of all time in general.

Letā€™s not forget Cleveland is benching a pro bowl qb to start another pro bowl qb. Man what a lucky team to have 2 pro bowl caliber qbs on the roster.

yea Iā€™d rather have a skills competition. each position has their own ā€˜nicheā€™ they can show off. thatā€™d be a lot of fun imo.

no, I know back in the day, reaching a Pro Bowl OR having a Pro Bowler on the team , used to mean something positive-it used to be a feat/ a good thing to reach a Pro Bowl, donā€™t give me the crap that it wasnā€™t ever. One of ā€˜ourā€™ players made a Pro Bowl, donā€™t tell me you didnā€™t watch that game back in the day -say- twelve years ago. give/take.

The simple fix for the injury problem is to expand rosters to 63. Pussifying the league is doing the exact opposite of what they hope.

Yeah, the first thing I thought was oh snap, there are a butt ton of contracts that will need redoing with ā€œif you make a probowlā€ excelerators now being meaningless. But this was an obvious fix for that.
