I know. I can’t tell if this is just a trick to lessen their disappointment, but God Dammit can we at least wait until we are 1-6 to start acting like the world is ending. 
The Lions might make the playoffs (7 teams) but they ain’t near the Chiefs yet, based on what I’m seeing tonight. Those guys look like a team in post-season form, which IMHO is a testament to their coaching.
This early in the season that had very little preparation time I would say that continuity is huge. Coaches, players, schemes…it all adds up.
