I get your point, but please don’t confuse Lions fans being giddy about our season as arrogance. Something 49er fans would NOT understand given their record you outlined.

If you beat us, you’ll be the No. 1 seed that did it’s job. We’ll be the team that revived a city.

I found out today I won a trip to Vegas for SB weekend through ESPNBet. Including an ESPN hosted event on Saturday night. If the Lions are there at the same time I’ll lose my damn mind.

We are playing with house money.
San Fran is “supposed” to win. They are huge Vegas favorites.
Detroit wasn’t “supposed” be in NFC Championship game.
I agree. San Fran looks vulnerable IF we can tackle. Purdy just makes short throws and Deebo, McCaffrey and Kittle do all the work. If we miss tackles, the game can get out of control really fast.

Won’t actually be going to the SB. Just an inclusive get away with some giant watch party at a resort for the big game. BUT if the Lions get to the SB I’m sneaking my ass in there

I don’t get the 7 point spread either. Who cares what Vegas thinks. The two teams are by far the best in the NFC and they aren’t that far apart themselves.

The Lions, despite not playing great last week, should have been fighting for that #1 seed going into the last week of the regular season. If not for a ref being confused by how to do his job 
It won’t be easy. I don’t think any of us think it will be. BUT the fact it is even in the realm of being possible is amazing to a fan base who has never had anything but mediocrity (at best) to cheer about. Stay humble? It’s all we’ve ever known while being the laughing stock of the league. You are upset you watched your team lose a championship? Try watching your team go 0-16. That’s genuine pain.

I’ve yet to meet a Lions fan who thinks we already have a ticket to the Superbowl. Most of us are just happy to be along for the ride.
I have seen a few 9ers fans who must be feeling pretty insecure, hopping to other forums to remind everyone about how often they’ve been in this position before.
