I didn’t see Crushing Loss to Backup QB there. I’m guessing that’s Week 15.

Opening with the 49ers is less than ideal. My view is that Shanahan is the best HC in the NFC west. He’ll have all his injured players back. He’s innovative. Tough first matchup. We’ll know a LOT after that game

I also didn’t see “Refs Bent You Over” (Loss) on there.

HEY! IMPROVEMENT!

LOL @ win that ruins draft position.

I’ve got 6 wins, or so.

Love the moral victories. We’re really good at those.

It did make me laugh, but this is exactly what MC/DC and Holmes are challenged with overcoming. They are now the leaders of an organization considered a joke. It’s not going to be easy. The Lions have been the laughing stock of the NFL for several decades and it’s become almost too easy to make fun of the Lions. Even the so called experts and NFL gurus make fun of us, and I’m sure that impacts the way refs call the games as well.

Hope they can start winning some games consistently in the next few years.

It’s possible to turn it around, just look at the Browns!

The Niners game is likely to be a loss at any point in the schedule. I actually like having the Niners first and wish it were an away game. Shanahan will likely expose our weak spots on defense and quicken our learning curve because of that. I like having Green Bay next too for the same reason. The team will be resilient enough to weather losses to 2 better teams. If we win one of them, MCDC goes to the HOF.

We could be the first 2-15 team in history.
Another one for the record books.

I actually like the idea of getting the 49ers in week 1. Weird stuff happens in week 1. I.e. the Jags in 2020.

True, we could possibly surprise them, they have no film to study on us.

Yep exactly, it’s as steep an uphill battle as any, but that’s what they are up against.

It’ll be tough and I will try to temper my enthusiasm and expectations but it would be so cool to see us come out and bite off kneecaps and win a game or two early we aren’t expected to win.

Disadvantage - good team with little prep, cohesion, lots of new guys, etc.

Advantage - No film out on how we use our guys on either side of the ball, who/how our rooks are, etc.

It’ll still are interesting. I’d be ultra-impressed, if we could pull it off. They have solid trenches too, but better skill positions than us.

Where is the obscure rule loss?

Or the lack of interest loss?

Or how about the loss, but win vs. the spread?

Our schedule shapes up pretty well. My analysis:

Week 1 - bite kneecaps
Week 2 - bite more kneecaps
Week 3 - bite more kneecaps
Week 4 - bite more kneecaps
Week 5 - bite more kneecaps
Week 7 - bite more kneecaps
Week 8 - bite more kneecaps
Week 9 - bye
Week 10 - resume biting kneecaps
Week 11 - bite more kneecaps
Week 11 - bite more kneecaps
Week 12 - bite more kneecaps
Week 13 - bite more kneecaps
Week 14 - bite more kneecaps
Week 15 - bite more kneecaps
Week 16 - bite more kneecaps
Week 17 - bite more kneecaps
Week 18 - bite more kneecaps

Who’s the team’s dentist btw?

You missed a couple weeks bud.

Wildcard Round - bite more kneecaps
Divisional Round - Bit more and more kneecaps
NFC Championship - Still Hungry for more and more and more kneecaps
Super Bowl LVI - For the love of God, let’s bite some more F-ing kneecaps

Could also be the first team to go 6-11. There will likely be a lot of firsts this year. The lions have never gone 0-17.
