That turf was grown about 5 miles from my house here in Charlotte NC. We rent an old farm building for our family business and it has a old weigh stations (for grain). The guys at Carolina Green AFC would drive the trucks full of sod to our building and weigh the sod before they left. If I was there, I would always ask where this load was heading and I got many cool answers (Baltimore, Tenn Titans/Vols, Philly Eagles, Washington Commanders…and some I forget. This was back around 2016-2019 before I broke my neck and got out of the business.
I’ll try and get some pictures for this forum - show off these mundane, boring fields of NFL turf in the middle of nowhere, USA.
