Good to see Kirk finally starting to hit again. The broken thumb has been an issue for months, even when he returned you could see him grimacing at the plate. Finally starting to look healthy again after 4 months. Now if only that 500 million dollar 1st baseman could do something.

Its been the year of broken fingers, wrist, and hands . I think 4 or 5 my guys have had some type of hand issue

He hasn’t played in 3 or 4 days. Bad back and hamstring tightness is what they have said.. If the Jays fall completely out of the race which is very likely considering the entire pitching staff is injured. Vlad gonna get shut down for the year.
He is playing today. So maybe a few days off will help. Who knows at this point. He’s been absolutely terrible.

If nothing else he’s still hitting singles, which is how my team is going to have to roll with him, Kwan, Wilson, and Simpson.
That’s the joke most Jays fans are making. We paid 500 million for a chubby singles hitter who is slower than a turtle. If he had speed, perhaps the singles might help.
I don’t even care if he bats .230 but need power and driving in runs from him desperately. The Jays would be in a wildcard spot if Vlad was doing anything.
Kirk hits a lot of singles too. I’m about to bench Cal for him so I can get Jacob Wilson in my lineup every day.
And to think I traded my Luis Arraez for 2026 Cal Raleigh. That’s almost as bad as trading you Dingler for Chris Bassitt.
