I picked up Carlos Cortez from the A’s this morning. I don’t know how long it will last but his .377 average and 1.122 ops deserves to be rostered in more than 16% of yahoo leagues.
My pitching has been too good to keep around guys who have been dog doo doo. It’s not a dynasty league, so it makes no difference to me.
The SP I got to replace him for had 11 Ks over 6 with a 1.50 era, so I’m not sweating it.

I’m meeting my preseason prediction of last place….
I have never played in a league with this many teams and just prevents much movement at all from available players
And, I’m not trading someone to help them kill it in the playoffs as this is a one year and done league til next seasons draft.

There is a rumor that Charlie Condon from the Rockies could get called up soon. Like real soon. I would definitely keep on eye on him. Good hitter in a great hitters park when he does get the call.
