Megill started off really bad last year and everyone dropped him. I was one of the people that scooped him up in every one of my leagues. It paid huge dividends.

Cubs left-hander Matthew Boyd is going to undergo surgery to address an injury to the meniscus in his left knee. His current timetable is unknown. Manager Craig Counsell provided the update to reporters, including Jesse Rogers of ESPN. After Counsell spoke, the Cubs officially placed him on the 15-day injured list. Right-hander Trent Thornton was selected to take Boyd’s spot on the roster. Left-hander Charlie Barnes was designated for assignment to open a 40-man spot for Thornton. Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reported that Thornton would be coming up prior to the official announcement.

Wow. They are dropping like flies. It seems way worse this year than others. I wonder if the cold weather is adding to the problem.

Now maybe it’s cause I mostly follow the Jays and Tigers. But it feels like injuries are at an all time high in baseball. And not just pitchers. Every position. Injuries through the roof

I needed an outfielder though.
I have Marsee in a dynasty 4x4 and he is money. Cant hit this bad for much longer. Takes walks, so in this league he helps even w/o hitting. Love that guy but I left myself short at C thinking Ramirez was gonna keep hitting. I usually grabbed Hicks in leagues I have Ramirez but somone pimped him here. Then Campusano fouls one off his foot….

Stott is solid too. I wanted to keep him long term but oh well.

Heads up to the Blake Snell owners. He is being activated and starting tomorrow. He wasn’t supposed to be activated until next week.
Thomas White should never become an uncle. It would be very confusing.
