even if they did question stands, how are we going to address the Center?
OP mentioned free agents, drafts, and trades, so he was talking about next season.
yeah, but does zero now, so our plan is to limp along and hope for the best?

What else can you do? There are no free agents out there. Can’t trade. Brad Holmes’ piss-poor management of the team this year drove away the Hall of Famer willing to come back.
Only thing they can do is wait for Glasgow, who isn’t even that good, to come back.

oh geesh, sometimes you don’t want the answer. 
So what are you suggesting ? I don’t see a fix for this year, may even be hard to fix for next year, that’s the purpose of the post.
I don’t see any Frank Ragnows out there anywhere. So seeking ideas
um, I was asking questions to, that meant I don’t have a fix.

I think Ragnow comes back next year. If he doesn’t, I draft first or second round. It’s that important.

Well for the record that didn’t work out well the first time, I think we have seen enough of that one.
Holmes would definitely be an idiot to put all his eggs in that basket

Jackson Powers-Johnson was available before the trade deadline and was the move I posted that I hoped we would make. The Raiders are not in love with Jackson and have moved him to guard. Raiders are looking to re-coop some draft capital. A fresh start under Hank Fraley could get a very talented guy back on the right track.

We need to know if Rat can be the center for the future. From what I seen so far there are no Centers in this years draft worthy of a 1st or 2nd round pick. Lew from Auburn was about the best one and he blew out his knee and will likely return to school. If Rat can play C then it would be very easy to draft a new OG. I think we need an OT in round 1 and there are a lot to choose from depending on where Sewell will play LT or stay at RT. I would hate to go into next season thinking Decker is going to get better and start all 17 games.

I take a tackle in the first almost every time for value and best player, we need to get ahead of that T position so we don’t end up in this predicament again.
I think Slaughter could be a good get in the 2nd. But not a day one starter probably.
From what I have seen so far Slaughter looks more like a day 3 pick. I would expect some OGs and short arm OTs will get looks and emerge as better center prospects.
Someone remind me again how “we’re good” applies to the current defensive or offensive lines.
Like, the most critical part of a football team and they couldn’t be bothered to address it in the offseason or regular season.
