Okudah will wear different number

Keith Byars was another one.

Okudah’s # should be 911.

Sundial?!?

911 for every time he gets burned.

Can he opt for a single digit? Two might be over his head.

Looks like it’ll be 23.

nfl.com has an Okudah 23 jersey available, while the no. 30 ones are on sale.

Don’t know what this means, but it’d be fitting.

Cool.

By the way, am I the only one that thinks they were onto something with this, but that they’ve fumbled the ball a bit with the front?

I figured it would be.

Okudah wants his jersey number to reflect the year he will be out of the league. Obviously 30 (aka 2030) was a bit of a stretch. But now that we know someone thinks he will be out of the league by 2023, it was a no brainer number change for him.

Maybe he shouldn’t have picked 23…

Apparently the NFL is expected to pass that rule about single digit numbers, essentially going to the college numbering rules.

He could’ve worn 1 again.

Oh well.
