Has passed away. One my favorites of all time .
■■■■man… He’s the foundation of modern rock for me… Mount Rushmore of metal… Sad sad day.
Rest in peace Ozzy… Reunited with Randy Rhoads
Absolutely shocked he made it this long. And even still played shows up till recently.
Huge legend. Helped pave the way for virtually any metal band ever. RIP \m/

I remember seeing an interview not too long ago. Where someone had the original tapes of the first self titled album. And Ozzy was able to describe EVERY moment of that session. And got teary eyes every time he mentioned Randy. I mean he was gone almost 40 years at that point and it still gets him.
RIP Oz , we love you.
I can’t say I ever got into Ozzy…but my brothers LOVED HIM! RIP! ![]()
RIP to a legend.
Did he at least take Sharon with him?
Absolute legend, he just felt like one of those guys who was immortal considering all the hell he put his body through and somehow surviving this long but what a life he lived.
Yikes.
Terrible news.
There may never be another one like him. The voice, the stage presence, the off-stage persona, and living to be 76 despite living the most rock star life imaginable. RIP you crazy bastard.
It’s crazy he lived as long as he did, for living as hard as he did. That said, he will always be a one of a kind icon. RIP to a metal legend.
R.I.P! A true rock n roll legend!
I saw him multiple times in concert. Favorite was probably at Castle Farms in 1982.
It’s a sad day even knowing it was coming.
His first two albums, post Sabbath, made me the metalhead I still am today.
I saw him, with Randy, in Feb of 82 at Cobo and it literally set my course in musical life.
Diary of a Madman is a pillar of metal and Blizzard is right there, too….
Tough day but cheers to Ozzy for a great life and a legacy that will live on forever
Castle Farms was such an awesome place to watch a concert. I probably saw 30 or more shows there back in the day (never saw ozzy though).
It’s a shame they shut it down.
In an interview he just for the Black Sabbath concert a few weeks ago, he was saying his mind is still all there, it’s his body that’s gone. I thought that was a crazy scenario considering all the drugs he consumed, you’d think it would’ve been the other way around.
Dude packed more into 76 years than damn near anyone. I still laughed at some of the shit that went on the Osbornes show………SHAAARRROONN!!
Him falling off the director chair was classic
I guess he meant it when he said, “farewell”.
R.I.P. Ozzy. I hope you found your way out of the darkness.
Did he at least take Sharon with him?
From stuff I’m reading (always with a grain of salt), it’s crazy how close you are.
And of course RIP to the man.
