My personal take is hooker is super talented but doesn’t want to put the work in.
Sad cause the talent is there

Brad doing his best drunk sailor impersonation. Got money, how can I burn it?
Plenty of bad trades and draft picks in Lions history. Here’s a simple one:
Lions take D’Andre Swift at No. 35 overall over Jonathan Taylor who went No. 41 overall.
Swift’s been ok, but Taylor has been superior–like Monty on steroids. Interestingly, Taylor (dob 1-19-99), is five days younger than Swift, who was born 1-14-99.
Well, he was at first. That’s what matters.
Nah, I’m sorry for the guy. Seems like a nice kid and it’s awfully rough to go from one-time possible first-rounder to being released by two teams in a few months (and some here thought we should hand him the keys to the Lions’ offense and save the money on Goff).
He turns 28 in two months and has no NFL tape to recommend him.
I hope he can find a PS spot somewhere.
Once for each hand?
I wonder if the Panthers left Hooker’s last paycheck on the nightstand.
Taylor has a ton of football IQ for a running back.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see him go far into coaching someday:
so…the kid obviously can catch a contested ball. Is it too much talent ahead of him on the roster that he’s not in there?
what team is Hook on now? -he won’t last there too long -either.
Hookers are paid to achieve a “release”….
And they are worth every damn penny they ask for…plus a tip.
I pounded the table for Taylor. Dude is 230lbs of speed.
