I think most midseason trades for WRs are duds, but this is a good fit on the surface. This makes me wonder if reports of other Falcons players being available are true, and if we have any interest.

Belicheck loves his Knights - McCourty twins, Harmon, Logan Ryan, now Sanu. There have been a bunch of others. Sanu is a tough blocker and possession receiver.
Good trade for them.
A 2nd round pick seems steep for Sanu but he’ll likely be more productive up there.
We should be sellers. But who do trade that’s worth anything?

I wonder if they think Beasley’s career can be revived in Detroit. Perhaps the fact that Bill didn’t acquire him for the same scheme might be telling.
Bill likes to play moneyball when it comes to those outside pass rushers.
A 2nd for a 30 year old receiver who has never had a 1000 yard season or more than 5 touchdowns in a season?

I totally agree. We need guys that can provide speed around the corner. Make the QB step up and maybe Flowers can use his bull rush to get a sack.

Marvin Jones. He turns 30 next year and is under contract through 2020 likely a hold out next spring as he wants a new deal.
