Pelissero: Rodgers has come out of the darkness

Rodgers may not be the QB he was ten years ago, but he’s a better QB today than Mason Rudolph is. The Steelers are just buying time until they can get a better QB prospect.

In this case, “buying time” is a euphemism for “tanking.”

When you get in bed with people with AR’s personality type, you almost always live to regret it. That is the greater concern apart from his declining skillset. I can’t tell the future, but I would be very surprised if this turned out well for the Steelers.

The Steelers would have been better off matching what the Giants paid Wilson and sticking with a declining but still reasonably effective vet who already had a year in the offense and isn’t locker room norovirus. Call it sticking with the devil you know, instead of going with the one you don’t who is also nuttier than a circus elephant’s dump.

when first reading this thread, I thought it said Rodgers has come out…like admitting he was gay.

The gays won’t have him.

The steelers are one of my side teams, but this will be weird.
It’s like your mistress getting a breast reduction.

Oh, no long hairs invited. That’s fine. You’re missing a party!

Then they would start Rudolph. It’s not in Tomlin’s DNA to “tank”.

Mullet party!
