I understand not everyone here loves PFF. I think it has value, but is far from an exact science. Regardless, they have St. Brown with a 80.5 run block rating which is tops among all WR’s.
On a side note, his brother is ranked 3rd.

I am not shocked by this…he does everything asked of him and he does it with MAX effort. This wasn’t just a home run pick by Brad and Co. but rather a franchise altering pick!
The Hines Ward comparisons are becoming more accurate.
That sounds about right to me. Sun God goes after his blocking assignments like that’s his primary role. How can you not love the guy?
Correction, people like them when it agrees with them. Dislike them when it is contrary to their opinion of how a player is performing
NFL & College team’s pay PFF thousand’s of dollars a year for a reason
We get Jamo going and we will have the 2nd coming of Hines and Plaxico…without all the almost shooting your pecker off in a bar stuff…
I think it’s easier for PFF to grade certain positions than others. Indeed, they don’t always know what a player’s assignment was, so when things go wrong, it’s more difficult for them to assess who was at fault.
If Jamo is the 2022 version of Jalen Waddle, the Lions are in great shape.
Hype?
st brown is our offensive mvp. we’re damn lucky to have him.
I will be absolutely out of my mind if Jamo becomes the 2022 version of Amon Ra St. Brown.
St. Brown, JRey, Jamo, Raymond, Kennedy = the best WR corps in the NFL.
No, I don’t care to debate it.
LOVE the Sun God’s mindset. Straight up Detroit. The man laughs at “physical” corners and brings the pain, either physical by laying the wood on a block, or mental, by abusing them with precise route running and just outworking them snap after snap.
It’s gonna be funny with Jamo out there, too. Sure, he may not bring the physicality on blocking, but keeping his man and the FS terrified of getting beaten deep will open up the run game even more.
St. Brown is a bonifide all pro.
How soon can the Lions extend his contract?
Interesting, where is Lazard on that list? He did a really good job downfield blocking for Adams and was first I think 2 seasons in a row. It’s a big deal.
Waddle’s been really good.
WHAT IF INSTEAD OF WADDLE’S PENGUIN WADDLE, WE CAN GET JAMO TO DO SHOTS AS HIS END ZONE DANCE???
Neat, yes.
I had just mentioned ASB’s blocking in the Sandman slow lights thread. Almost not fair what he did down on the goal line for Williams third touchdown. Seems to be the ultimate team player and is a stud. What more do you want? Is he the best fourth round pick the Lions have ever had?
For sure. Not taking anything away from him.
I’m just working on not being quite so covetous.
I believe we have green grass right here in our yard.
Is there any other way?
