Also surprised not to see Arnold or Davis on the worst list. I have to ask what kind of mayhem were these five guys involved with that they kept the above mentioned guys off the list?
There is no way Monty was that low. I can not speak for Jamo as we do not get to see him run his routes and all that he has to do. But we see Monty pretty much every play. And I am not sure what Goff would need to do to get in the top 5 after a night like that.
But the PFF grades always feel like they watched like 10 plays…and not the whole game.
I would need to be subscribed to PFF to see his score for this game, could have been his Zone Coverage was really good, and his man was ass, so they cancel out, idk.
Very surprised to see Awosika and Glasgow that low, but then while I like the work PFF does more than most people on here, if there’s one area where their scores have always given me pause, it’s with the OL.
80.9 certainly seems like a modest grade for Goff - another guy we get to focus on when he’s on the field. But they do rank him 2nd offensively and 3rd among all Lions players.
Kinda funny that DC gave game balls to Jamo and Kerby (and not JG). PFF ranks Jamo 5th-worse among ALL Lions players, and ranks Kirby only 8th among all Lions’ players.
Always take PFF grades with a major grain of salt. There’s no way they could have went and watched every single player individually, for both teams, every single snap, since the game ended late last evening. That’s on top of the already criticisms like not knowing what the playcall was, the responsibility of said players, etc.
So Goff has damn near a perfect rating, 18/18, throws a TD and catches a TD.
AND somehow only gets a 80.9 rating??? What did he do wrong?
I would love to see how PFF calculates these ratings
No way he was deducted points, He was perfect.
