There is no poor, Marty. The two players the pistons picked up aren’t going to make them contenders. Im not saying their going back to being dog shit. I just dont think they can compete with some teams that got much better in the off season. Its the same show with every Detroit team. That dont take the next step

Isaiah Joe is a hell of a shooter. We have a great head coach in terms of coaching team defense. I am excited to see what Isaiah can do with Cade running point.

We didn’t even have a starting shooting guard in 2025/26. Now we do.

Starters: PG Cade, SG Isaiah Joe, SF Aussar Thompson, PF John Collins and C Jalen Duren.

Bench: Guards Dannis Jenkins, 2027 rookie and Chaz Lanier, SF Duncan Robinson, PF Ron Holland, C Paul Reed.

This core is Cade, Aussar and Jalen. Those guys can all get better. Isaiah Joe can shoot. In fact, he is ready for a larger. 27 years old, experienced, an NBA champion as a key depth guy and now likely starter on a good Pistons team.

Rodman took over the starting SF spot from Mark Aguirre during the 1989-90 season. I think after Daly made that switch is when they won, like, 25-26
