Pistons - Greek Freak

Rammstein is on my list as well… I’m not huge on theatrics, but it’s definitely something to experience. Rob Zombie/Static-X/Slipknot is as far as I’ve gone down that rabbit hole… Nothing compared to the freaks in GWAR lol

I’m not really into the theatrics either. Ramstein was at a festival. I didn’t even still stay for the whole show. But Gwar has a degree of silliness that I think would appeal to me a bit more. Once would likely be enough for me but it does sounds like an awesome night out with friends.

That would be a terrible decision here. Cade is the only ball dominant player we need.

The Freek isn’t a floor spacer or a guy that can consistently hit open jumpers.

Agreed. Whatever team gets him… Needs to surround him with 3 point shooters. Once the double team or help comes, he can fire passes to wide open 3 point shooters. That’s what made some of those Bucks teams deadly when they had shooters.

Hack a freak is not a bad strategy either late in games… As he struggles at the free throw line.

I believe the Pistons beat the Knicks with a healthy Stewart.

Re-signing Schroeder and Beasley is the key for me.

Hell, Dennis, Beasley, Ron Holland, Stewart and Simone F. is better than a few of the starting five years past for the Pistons!

Cade, Ivey, Aussar, Harris and Jalen Duren is a young and solid starting five. Cade is the #1 option. Ivey MIGHT be a #2. Jalen is sweet on pick and rolls. Harris has a great post-up game.

One player who I think would be a perfect fit is Bobby Portis. Great shooter, can post up and can play the pick and roll game. Portis, Harris, Jalen and Beef Stew would be a really good big rotation.

Will be my 4th time.
Wife refuses to see them again after going once.
Let’s have a beer together there.
I interviewed Wayne Static back in the day. Mistakenly got put in a chokehold by security at one of their shows. Long story.
Dope is one of the openers, too. Solid band.

Yep, singer from dope is now the singer for Static-X, so they’re always on tour together… Broke my wrist in a mosh pit while Dope was performing at the intersection, that’s when I decided I was getting too old for that shit :joy:

Damn, did you say the Intersection? Downtown GR, near yesterdogs if memory serves and another bar called Shout, probably not there anymore.

We hit Intersection many a weekend in the 80’s, if the same place wow, still there…lol.

Intersection is downtown now, it used to be near yesterdog in eastown, they moved in the early 2000s… Shout was only a thing for a few years in the late 80s, well before my time. Yesterdog is still going strong, I was there last week!

No thanks! You would have to unload half your team and future assets.

Damn, forgot about Shout!

Was usually at Tootsie O’Kelly’s Flanagans or the place in the basement across from Flanagan’s Raggs to Riches.

Or Top of the Rock or Electric Avenue

Ha… THAT place… I remember going there a few times before they got shut down for letting underage girls in to drink. Flanagans is still there and a solid bar. Mojo’s is right next door, good bar with dueling pianos on the 1st floor and a club on the 2nd.

I’ll be at the Detroit Sports Spectacular in the afternoon getting some autographs, then back in GR for the Static-X show that night… Gonna be a GREAT day
