Well done Tigers! Wasn’t able to watch live but just saw the highlights. Hate these 1pm playoff games on weekdays.
It was not pretty baseball but playoff wins are huge no matter how you get them.

Because in the playoffs, your win inevitably leads to a loss by the team you are playing. So, everything in magic number land is multiplied by 2. Silly, yes. But just more of that math that everybody seems to enjoy around here.

Same. I grew up watching the Cubs on WGN during the Sosa years and the Braves on TBS during the Chipper Jones years. Have a spot for both of them, but really am more of a Cubs fan than even a Tigers fan because I feel like I grew up with the Cubs.

My FIL was a huge Cubs fan, God rest his soul, so my wife always has been also.
Unfortunately he passed away before they won the WS in 2016.

One of the best sports moments I’ve been able to experience. Still have my Kris Bryant World Series jersey. That Game 7 is probably the best game I’ve ever seen in my life, not sure anything could top that other than like a Lions SB win in OT.
