That is a very interesting stat about dangler leading the team in war at 3.1. Given that the team has so many All Stars the general rule of thumb with war is that the 2.0 is an average Major League starter and four and a half to five is an All-Star level player
A couple more wrinkles on why you might be right first of which at the link above is that there is a draft pick incentive for teams to bring these top level prospects up and let them play all year if they really are somebody you could become Rookie of the Year. They finally did this because so many guys were getting screwed out of an extra year of Eligibility by being brought up just after the time frame that would make them eligible to earn a full season
Second wrinkle is that I noticed McGongle ison the Arizona fall league team roster. Very interesting and in my opinion itās one more small showcase that will get him playing against good competition though probably more from single a and a little bit from double A. If he can have a measure of success there and show out in Camp spring then he very well could be the opening day shortstop which means Mr Meadows maybe the 4th outfielder, at best.
Hey @stephenboyd57 seeeeeee, I made a compelling caseā¦not sure how I did this or how @bols arrived at this conclusion yet, not sure anyone has ever said this about you. Well, unless you count Canadians being softā¦then yea you did.
Spot on @Weaselpuppy regular season success is cute⦠But it means nothing if you get bounced fast in the playoffs.
Same reason I donāt even care if the Lions win the division. Get in the playoffs and then kick ass. Not the other way around. Get in, stay kinda healthy and be dangerous
