Practice Squad tracker

Verification question: Is the difference between cut and waived solely tied to 4 years of service or is there something else I am missing?

I believe so, yes. Waived is for those who have to go through waivers. Cut (I think they officially call it released) is for those who don’t.

It wasn’t much of a competition. He had nothing left. If was like Marvin Jones his last season with us.

Do lions have a practice squad qb?

Not yet.

Meeks, Kennedy, and, Skipper, were the only ones I really care about ( that wording sounds terrible).

Meeks has a future, here!

Looking at his history even if Skipper goes to another PS he’ll probably end up back here before the end of the season.

No, he’s a Street Free Agent and can be signed by anyone. If he was Waived/Injured, he’d revert back, but he was waived with an injury settlement.

He can’t sign with anyone until after the weeks the injury settlement was for. i.e. if the Lions paid him for 7 weeks, he can sign with another NFL team (active roster or PS) week 8 or with the Lions 3 weeks after that (week 11).

Skipper is probably going to wind up coaching here at some point.

That’s not how I remember it.

This was last November: Nolan Bianchi asks Dan Campbell about Allen Robinson: 'He’s as pro as a pro gets'

Tom Kennedy can run scout as qb he was one in college.

Ah that sucks. I thought he was waived/injured.

No Kennelly, wonder where he ended up

That was commentary on him being washed for the last few years. I wasn’t saying that he literally hasn’t been in the League.
