When I nail the last 3 picks in our draft, I will credit you–and my ouiga board–during my acceptance speech as The Champion of The Den Mock Draft 2023… Where’s the dancing banana when I need it?
I’ve been looking for his numbers all day. I know he skipped the 40 but it looks like maybe he skipped the agility testing too? And while those numbers are OK, they’re hardly what I expected from the #1 guy on Feldman’s freaks list.
Can’t expect very exciting from an iOL but I like this guy as a late rounder/UDFA:
Some missing numbers from interesting players who tested awhile ago are finally starting to come in. Indiana for example had their pro day March 7th, the very first day they could after the combine.
Luke Haggard, OT, Indiana: 6’6, 302, 33 1/8 inch arms, 5.17 40, 7.75 3-cone, 28 vert, 9’ broad. 23 bench reps. (Not great for him, he was supposed to rely on his athleticism).
Tiawan Mullen, SLOT, Indiana: 5’8.4, 181, 30 3’8 inch arms, 4.42 40, 7.00 3-cone, 4.41 shuttle, 32 vert, 10 broad (Trayvon’s little brother)
Cam Jones, LB, Indiana: 6’1.2, 227, 31 1/4 inch arms, 4.61 40, 7.3 3-cone, 4.40 shuttle
Devon Matthews, S, Indiana: 6’0, 203, 32 1/4 inch arms, 4.55 40, 7.01 3-cone, 4.28 shuttle, 36.5 vert, 10’4 broad
Ryan Greenhagen, LB, Fordham (he’s on the PFF simulator so I figured it was pertinent): 6’1, 242, 30 3/8 inch arm, 4.78 40, 7.12 3-cone, 4.32 shuttle, 34.5 vert, 9’9 broad, 30 bench press reps
Jacky Chen, OT, Pace College: 6’5, 299, 34 1/2 inch arms, 5.43 40, 7.9 3-cone, 4.74 shuttle, 29 vert, 8’10 broad, 24 bench press reps
David Zorrilla, WR, Bryant: 6’, 210, 31 inch arms, 4.59 40, 7.03 3-cone, 4.25 shuttle, 36 vert, 10’2 broad
Tyler Adams, WR, Butler: 5’11.2, 195, 29 5/8 inch arms, 4.45 40, 7.23 3-cone, 4.52 shuttle, 35.5 vert, 9’10 broad
Jerrick Reed, S, New Mexico: 5’9.6, 196, 31 inch arms, 4.46 40, 7.16 3-cone, 4.31 shuttle, 38 inch vert, 10’2 broad
Sy Barnett, WR, Davenport: 5’11.2, 192, 30 1/8 inch arms, 4.44 40, 7.02 3-cone, 4.31 shuttle, 39 vert, 10’6 broad (should make for a damn good RAS)
I’m looking at the numbers and said out loud “that’s really not freakish”. Like, I appreciate their enthusiasm for one of their soon-to-be pros, but “freakish”? I don’t think so.
JJ McCarthy was the QB throwing to WR/TE at UM’s pro day event yesterday. A good way to give scouts an extra early up close look at him, not a big deal just a little thing.
If only he wasn’t like 30.
How about we just say very mature?
Yea, at certain positions and draft slots that matters, QB, sure OL, RB sure.
A TE, meh not important to me or a reason to take him off the board, not that he is on the Lions board.
Not completely off, I agree. But definitely a reason to move him down. I think for the most part that’s already happened though, you rarely see him go before day 3.
At the high point I think it is mid to late third, but believe he goes in the 4th.
