Question? We Good Yet?

The news IMO would be in relation to Kerby not Branch. Branch can be healing just fine and rehabbing but there is no way to tell how the tendon will actually respond.

I tore mine before Brian did and although not even close to the athlete or access to medical resources….mine still swells from time to time even after extended periods when it hasn’t.

Playing basketball….went with like 4 minutes left in game. Grabbed a rebound and went to take off and just BOOM felt like someone rolled into me from behind.

Our lovely Canadian health care system did nothing to help as I waited almost 2.5 months for surgery!

Without reading everyone’s take. I would say we were always good but just needed to rebuild the offensive line after losing Rags and Decker’s rapid decline. Those two things caught us off guard and our OC just absolutely being horrible I think this is 100% the draft we needed. Think we are now really solid. And next years draft is gonna set up really nicely for us to restock. Don’t want to resign branch? Okay, go get his replacement and just run. Want to trade up for the missing piece DE…..that’s the draft to do it. Think we are a 12 13 win team and the next draft is gonna be a very subtle reload one for us. This was a huge huge huge draft that we needed to get right in order to feel good about the team and the FO’s future. This draft to me calmed the nerves and sets us up really nicely.

guess I’ll never know why fans believe “well protect the QB-you win it all” when your defense can’t stop opposing offenses from racking up the score on them or stopping them from winning. we found out in 25, that just because you got 40 points, it’s not a promise that your opponents cant reach 41 or something -especially if the refs “help”…

When healthy, it’s what we’re VERY good at.
Watch there season we lost to SF in the playoffs…
…then the following season as well. Watch the games before injuries started piling up.

Every time the NFL implements a new rule, it favors offense…ours is awesome.

I’m hoping for a top 5 offense…maybe top 1 or 2…with a 15-ish rank defense.

Yes…I absolutely think you can win SBs that way.
Look at the Barry Sanders teams. Pretty good Defenses.
Great skill positions, but lesser OL, and crap QB.

Think of what Barry would have done with the OL we had a couple of years ago… Gibby’s talent is magnified dramatically by OL. There were a ton of little things missing from what we were doing a couple of years ago - don’t wanna make it too long (what she said).

We don’t need a top ten defense to reach a bowl. you see, in a season I had about a popcorn fart worth of expectation, WE once reached 15 wins, 0rdinarily, that’s not special however, it was more about the piss poor condition this team was in, all the negative things we were going through, as a team------to not quit EVEN with Mash unit lines and Morton and Dan trying to call Offensive plays together in some meaningful way, not because we pulled players off the reserves to finish the season out, we still had 15 wins out of 17, we got robbed ! This team EARNED the right to compete in The Playoffs. but " The League said " Oh no, you didn’t do enough, you lost to “The Commanders” … I have a good vibe about this season! I don’t ever want the assholes to set a 14. 15. 16. 17. 18. 19-game season; and we win ALL of them but TWO, and tell us "you didn’t make it " ever again !!
