I bet many here would be ecstatic. No need to worry about where they were selected, we got some great pieces and they will help us long term
This has been a successful draft IMO.
I agree 100%. So far this has been very good no matter where they got drafted. With FA and the draft this team got so much better.
And we have picks left and plenty of cap space for FAs still on the market or guys cut after the draft.

If everyone can admit that none of these picks were reached… just validation we didn’t know where guys were supposed to go….
Remember the QBs 1-4? Maybe 5 in the top 12? Tanner McKee in round 2…
Remember no RBs in the top 25?
So word is Darnell Washington foot is a mess…. How long do they leave him as BPA? Is he off a bunch of boards?
Heard is medical was so bad alot of teams outright removed Washington from their boards.
I feel like we say this every year…

Looks quite a bit better to me.
I would have said that 6 seemed a bit high to take Branch.
It seems after Witherspoon was gone we were not prepared and just blew the whole first round. Then we had a chance to trade down to start the 2nd round and we blew that too. I just don’t like the Campbell pick at all. All in all I’m ok with it because now I don’t have to purchase the NFL ticket.
Main reason I don’t get caught up in mock drafts
Like any job, culture fit is a big part of who gets selected
That element we can never “know” from the outside
The only pick that made me tilt my head was Campbell— only because of the AA signing
No doubt they have a plan for each of these guys
This team got sooo much better over the last 3 months 
Carter was never going to be their pick
And rightfully so
To me they 100% were prepared to move down if Witherspoon was not available

What I mean is if I gave you a list of just those names and said this was who we were gonna draft and we NEVER talked about where those individuals were taken I think most would be supportive and think we did well.
Well I am not sure about choir boys but maybe we just wanted someone who could finish their pro-day and not quit when things got tough!
I have done this mental gymnastics with myself, and it makes me feel better.
I can’t wait for everyone hating on the picks to eat crow. We are fans, we don’t know a damn thing about what the FO had planned or who they liked. We went off of mock drafts for months by the talking heads. Have you watched any of Brad’s press conferences? He has literally said they were both the highest players on their board. I can understand being upset that “your” guys didn’t get picked but to say they blew the first round is absolutely laughable. Step off the ledge.
