Damn was really hoping they’d let Baalke make their picks. Oh well, I was shocked when they retained him anyway.
I suppose the good news is Wilson has been cutting his teeth under Steve Keim who’s terrible at drafting. Like the worst drafting GM in the league.

Worst at drafting in the league? They went 12-5 with a young core. Since Keim has been there they’ve drafted Byron Murphy, Kyler Murray, Budda Baker, DJ humphries, Christian Kirk etc. Definitely not the worst.
Hey even Millen drafted Calvin once right? Sometimes you can’t miss and that was the case with Kyler, and once you nail the QB it makes everything else a lot easier.
But don’t take my word for it, it’s a pretty common take. Here’s just one example:
I will say he’d been much better in FA and with trades (Hopkins, notably). I didn’t call him a bad GM, just a bad drafter.
Its hard for me to respect a guy’s “eye for talent” if he was dumb enough to draft Josh Rosen.
