I had the privilege of meeting this gentleman while the Canadiens were waiting for the team bus behind the old Olympia in the late 70s. They used to bus to Windsor Airport to fly back to Montreal back then. Funny to think now. The whole team was there, LaFleur, Cornoyer, Savard, and the gentle giant, Dryden. Will never forget him backstopping Team Canada in the Summit Series vs. the USSR in ‘72. RIP, sir.
