So they agreed to eliminate week 0. And turn it into week 1. Having all teams play and give everyone a 2nd bye week. Meaning Week 1 will be the week before Labor Day. And conference championship games will be week 15. And Army v Navy week 16.

Im more than okay with this. Week0 was so stupid. Especially since there’s virtually no good games. The best game this weekend is likely the 10pm game of Memphis vs UNLV. Winner will be the leader in the clubhouse for the Group of 5 seat in the playoffs. All be it to get destroyed by a real team.

So mark your Calendars. EMU at Michigan Sat August 28. CMU at MSU Fri August 27. 2027.

No one shows up to USC games anyway.

But yea i think that might be part of it. A lot of people didn’t know week 0 was this week. Where if you have all 138 teams playing week 1 might have a better chance

Is USC even in school yet this fall? I know several west coast schools and several NC area schools don’t start until Labor Day. We started a week and a half ago, and Auburn started even before us. It just depends on the school I guess.

It’s hard to fill up a stadium against San Jose State if the students aren’t even back yet.
