More great news!
Now would be a great time to create a bunch of twitter burner accounts and start pretending to be outraged Packers fans demanding the Packers trade him for actions detrimental to the team.
Let’s hope he at least created a ton of discord before returning. Be a distraction Erin!
I’m not sure how the fans could possibly be divided, the organization left AR before AR left them.
I believe Terry Bradshaw once proclaimed, “All great empires die from within”.
Make it happen, Aaron .
lol
"Bradshaw’s** so dumb he couldn’t spell cat if you spotted him the ‘c’ and the 'a. ’ "

I’m definitely “Team Rogers” but I’m quite happy that also hurts the Packers a whole bunch.
My hope is the way they get him to play this year is voiding the final two years of his contract, so that he becomes an UFA (potential third round comp in 2023). It’s good for the Packers, Rodgers will be 100% committed to the Packers for 2021 and he will have his choice of team in 2022. But the Packers won’t get a nice trade package for him next year and Rodgers won’t be limited to what the Packers finding a good trade deal.
I just love that the Packers front office totally mutilated the handling of this. But either way.
Has Rodgers discount double-checked his way off the team?
The funny part is its all because he played well in 2020. Most fans would have a completely different take on Aaron if he played like chit in 2020 and the team moved on and he wanted to stay.
Those are divorce words for sure. He publicly said The Packers management has poor character and culture. As a business owner, I can say that if I had a star employee who did that, it would be really hurtful, create a PR scramble and it wouldn’t be reconcilable
That’s why there are HR protocols in place so small issues can be handled and employees counseled before there is a full meltdown
I tend to think this is Rodgers and his huge ego performing a slow methodical queen out over perceiving a slight from the Packers trading up to draft Love. The minute that pick was announced, Rodgers switched to scorched earth mode
I love how his MVP season changed how he feels about his contract.
Isn’t that what he was being paid to do…?
He will come strutting into camp like Jesus at some point, to save the Packers and their fans, fits his overinflated ego perfectly.
2018 & 2019 were the worst 2 year stretch as a pro (I’m not counting his pre-started days). He had his 2 worst QBR ratings in 2018 & 2019.
It’s only logical that the team start to believe that the downward trend could continue. The fact that Erin turned it up a notch actually shows he wasn’t giving it his all the last couple of seasons prior to drafting Love.
Perhaps, but 25 TDs vs 2 INTs in 2018 and 26 TDs vs 4 INTs in 2019 (a 51 TD to 6 INT ratio) over a full season, is something Lions fans could only dream of.
I mean…Stafford had a year where he threw 41 TDs vs 16 INT in a single season. The ratio isn’t QUITE as good but that’s also almost equivalent to the 2 seasons worth of TDs you mentioned.
In 2019… he went 13-3 in most important stat category.
He had a TD/INT ratio of 26-4… and completed 62% of passes for 4000 yards in his 1st year with a new coach.
How is that a bad thing?
His numbers improved in 2020… maybe because he … and his teammates… were more comfortable in the 2nd year of a new offense?
Until he doesn’t play, I plan on him playing.
I do admit to a certain amount of giddiness seeing turmoil in cheesetown.
