SHEET - The NFL site has our game against San Fran on Monday night rather than Saturday night. Would much rather have Saturday, but i guess that was just a rumor?
very short week for the Miinny finale - red eye to Detroit Tuesday morning. Yuck.
Last year- A+
This year - F - more annoying than anything.
Accusing me of “dropping acid”? That’s real classy.
They’re doing their characters from Detroiters, a beloved comedy series on Comedy Central that ended way too soon.
Didn’t notice this.
Well if it is Monday it gives us an extra day to prep for San Fran
Go out there win the #1 seed then let Hooker, Vaki, DPJ, Green, Block Right, Mitchell and company go mop up Vikings week 18
Oh wait we don’t do that we play our guys full game in a meaningless game
Why are the Seahawks always at our place and we are always at Dallas?
I can’t believe we play SF that late and right before the playoffs. Our bye always seems so damn early.
Two big things I noticed:
ONE, Vikings have a bye week before playing the Lions.
I think they’ll install JJ McCarthy as the starter that week, and the Lions get a rookie making his NFL debut.
TWO, the Lions @ Packers game Nov. 3 is once again the “Gold Package” game. That means the old Milwaukee season ticket holders get tickets, and they usually sell them much more frequently than regular Packers fans. It’s why the Lions were able to flood Lambeau last year with fans, and they might be able to again this year.

No.
It was a joke.
There appears to be no point in sunday ticket this year unless you want to pay essentially a game ticket for 6-7? games???
16-1 looks good. Only because we rest our starters in week 18.
Why are the Seahawks always at our place and we are always at Dallas?
This is the year
We are due to beat them both down
Detroit Lions 2024 schedule - game by game predictions for the new season
He’s got two L’s back-to-back more than once, which if true, could lead to…

THREE
We play @ Chicago December 22nd
Bears have 3 road games before that
@ Det, @ SF, @ Minny (MNF)
Should work in our favor?
Didn’t notice this.

Yeah - and gives SF an extra day to prepare for us… no advantage there. Really, the switch from Saturday, which all the rumor mongers had, to Monday is a big detriment for our final game vs. Minny. The last three games are a wringer - Chicago in the cold, cross country to SF on Monday night, cross country back on Tuesday morning for a short week to play Minny. There’s a small chance they could flex Minny to Sunday night but that doesn’t help a whole lot.
With this schedule, I’m predicting a slight step back - 11-6.
If they make the playoffs they’ll be battle tested. With this WR corps I doubt we’ll have to worry about it.
Difficult 1st place schedule but a few advantages we have capitalize on.
9 home games with no international games.
All other division rivals have an international game with the Bears and Vikings having to burn a home game.
Only one cold weather game: @ Chicago
Three outdoor games: @ Green Bay; @ Chicago; @ San Francisco
Hopefully our kicker will be a weapon.
We have only 6 Sunday afternoon, 1 PM games
As a West Coaster, I have no complaints about fewer 10 AM games.
Not going to lie…our social media team took an L this year.
Not going to lie…I watched it and then said to myself, “OK, where’s the real one?”
Our bye always seems so damn early.
Yup…not a fan of that
