I’m not afraid of the Seahawks. They have zero SEC championships, there isn’t even a single Beef O Brady’s location in all of Washington State, their players have to finance their waterbeds at 27%, and their head coach never lettered in shit.
I actually think this will be something of a defensive battle.
The Seahawks run game is really bad, and even if it wasn’t, we specialize in making teams one-dimensional (hopefully Alim is OK). Geno is getting pressured pretty regularly on drop backs, which should also play right into our hands.
Conversely, our offense has been a little slow getting out of the gates, whereas the Seahawks D seems to have taken to McDonald’s scheme really quickly. Granted that’s against bad QBs and questionable OLs so far, but it’s sure to have bred a lot of confidence in that unit, and it takes confidence to play well. Plus their secondary is pretty stacked.
Honestly I’d love to be able to attack them with LaPorta - their LBs are probably their weakest unit right now - but I’m not sure LaPorta will be up for it.
By the time we play them every player on that team will be a week older. That’s about an entire year for their active players. In dog years they’ll be just about ready for retirement. I’m not worried.
I was at that Silverdome game! There was a bunch of drunk hot ladies whipping out their boobs and pressing them against the glass of the restaurant. It was an eventful night.
I am confident the Lions win. Mostly because I have zero belief that Seattle starts 4-0. Just like I thought the Rams would win yesterday against all logic. And why I was 100% confident that the Ravens would win.
It all balances out. The Lions will go 3-1 through the first 4 games. I am hoping the Cowboys win a couple here the next few weeks so that they they are prime for a loss.
I do think the old Wojo up down theory holds some truth.
