I believe that if we had won that game, coupled with Seattle losing that game, we would have made the playoffs, even with the GB hail mary BS.
Not to open a can of worms, but those 2 scenarios (the batted ball, and the hail mary BS) really turned me against Caldwell. I always felt he never stuck up for the players or the team in the manner I wished he would. The coach should have been all up in the refs face about that batted ball. Ugh, pisses me off to this day thinking about it.

Yep they held Megatron in check and Titus Young beat them with multiple touchdowns. I was just looking at the box score from that game…lions leading rusher Mikel Leshoure.

Will be there Monday night going to be a fun night. Going to be a tough game with all the injuries.
I thought we would win this one before a bunch of guys got banged up last week. Think it will be a close game that could go either way. Seattle has not really played anyone but at the same time they have not had much problems with those teams either so they are still a good team.

They gave up 20 points to a Bo Nix first start led Broncos(16 PPG in other games)
They gave up 20 points to a Jacoby Brisset led Patriots team(9.5 PPG in other games)
They gave up only 3 points(yay) to a Skyler Thompson/Tim Boyle led Dolphins team.(15 PPG in other games)

Tampa Bay hadn’t beaten us in years. They wanted it more.

Brissett has 368 Yards, 1TD, 0INTs and a 79.9 passer rating.
Thompson has 187 (2 games) yards passing, 0TD and 0INT with a 78.7 rating.
Goff has 723 yards, 3TDs, 4INTs and a 79 passer rating.
If Goff can stop turning the ball over I like our chances but Geno Smith against our secondary is a legitimate concern.
You have to pressure Geno. Last year AG chose not too and we lost. I hope we don’t use the same game plan this year.

I was at that game with my wife. We had no idea how bad we had been screwed until we left the stadium and then at that point it was the only thing anyone was talking about.

Seattle has had our number plenty of times, I think this will be a close game (with our injuries), never can quite leave the refs out of their BS either, I’d be surprised if we beat them bad.
This will definitely be a tough game! Never underestimate a Mike McDonald defense. He shut us down and made us look like a JV team last year with the Ravens.
