In general Brad and the scouting department did a great job fixing the OL IMO.
My Houston buddy warned me we’d be disappointed in Scruggs. Oops. 
You know there are a lot of works in progress on this team but this was the most important one. Protect Goff and you’re going to be in most games. Block for Gibbs, same thing. Players are breaking out in real time on O, we just need some of that to rub off on the D.
WAY better than Glasgow. And he is a back up!
He wasn’t good versus the Bills but he was pretty great versus the Saints and Jets. I love that for him.
To me we have an interesting question:
Scruggs V Mahogany in 2027. Mahogs is under contract for 2027 but Scruggs isn’t.

1000% this. What’s encouraging is they hit our biggest priority and did it quickly.
We also haven’t watched our line play with our #1 center yet. Still lots of upside potential here as they gel.
Scruggs = FA at end of year. Scruggs is doing EXACTLY what you would want any “prove it” player to do. While I’m sure Brad’s plan was to develop him and sign to a cheap 2nd contract but with NFL tape for all to see, someone will sign him for more elsewhere.

I’ll say! At this point, May is going to have to beat him out. This Line is beginning to gel. You don’t mess with chemistry mid season if it’s working.
I think that he would be doing much better on another team.
