It does but I suspect “hunting” that inside info even when you don’t have connections is a much larger part of the draft process than we’ll ever know. I know when they like a guy they interview anyone and everyone who might have even breathed on him, I suspect they’ve gotten quite good at digging up the skinny.

Our oline is probably the single biggest reason we finally made the NFCCG for the first time in 30+years. Going away from that is dangerous.

Agreed, BUT we did that with a 3rd rounder at one guard spot and a cheap vet coming off a couple of really bad years at the other. Why when we managed to pull that off last year is the only way to replace them by spending 1st rounders?

Any idea how much money David Edwards is expecting to get? Had a really good year. Drafted by the Rams when Brad was there. Experience with both zone and gap.

Did he have a good year? I haven’t really paid much attention to him this year but I know he left LA as something of a disappointment. But I liked him coming out, if he’s finally putting it together I’d be interested in him for sure at the right price.

Though kinda surprised we weren’t interested in him last offseason if Brad liked him.

He was a rotational Guard so sample size issues but 82.7 according to PFF and Bills fans seemed to like him well enough.

I liked him coming out of school as an OG convert and though he was solid in LA.

Just seems like a sneaky cheap veteran approach.

Of course I thought the same about Yiadom and now I’m not sure that he’ll be that cheap. But he had more of the usual breakout trajectory.

I just wonder why Brad wasn’t in for him last year. I guess Big V might have kept that from happening when he restructured, but I mean $1.7M was in the budget, and that’s what Edwards cost the Bills.

He does seem like a sneaky cheap vet who could work out though, much like Glasgow did this year.

He was coming off of two concussions. Missed 13 games. PCS perhaps? So there was a lot of uncertainty with him. And I think he may have favored the Center flexibility with Glasgow.
