If he signs the tag they could, Rodgers would freak out though. Adams will be a packer in 2022, I’d bet my house on it. Rodgers would never have returned without his star WR and good friend.

Sure, they just have to find a trade partner willing to pay the inflated tag contract and give them draft picks to boot.

It’s not inflated. If he was a UFA, he’d get more APY than the $20M franchise tag, probably $24M APY minimum.

Still, I doubt anyone will take on the contract and give up a boatload of picks.
Christian Kirk just signed a 4yr, $72M contract ($18M APY) . . . if Kirk gets that, what do you think Adams would get?

Adams gotta be worth 3 years - 80mill or 4 years - 105mill if Kirk is getting 18 mill per season. Adam is in a completely different league when it comes to talent.
