Hoping to get a call from Musk any day now.
Anyway, just wanted to thank all of you for not having much of a life.
Nate, I do my very best to help with this metric. I literally check Twitter and then come here at least 4 times an hour, as if anything has changed. Haha
I hope the traffic helps with any advertising, love the site! Looking forward to the chat feature during the draft. Used to love it during the draft over at MLIVE before they got rid of the feature.
I’ve dropped all ads from the forum. The revenue wasn’t bad, but I could tell they were interruptive of the experience. Ads suck. And I don’t like the lack of privacy around them, and how they inject tracking cookies.
At some point, I’ll probably ask for a small monthly fee to help cover costs and grow the site (and likely make that optional, especially for long-time members).
We started here from scratch in October of 2018, but unfortunately I don’t have historical data from the Rivals.com and Scout years ('04 to '15, I think?). Anyway, we’re close to how active/busy we were in our heyday with less overall members, but the forum application is so markedly different that it’s not really apples to apples.
Well, I rarely post anything on Twitter either but you’re missing out if you don’t use it as a resource for draft coverage. So many great folks that cover the draft and provide great intel.
That just isn’t how it works. Almost all of us get our information from other places and bring to here to discuss. Twitter is literally the perfect APP for all the draft talk, except for the folks that tip the draft selections.
This is just an example of info you get that you cannot find anywhere else.
Thanks Nate. This place is a bit of escapism stress relief. Let’s also not forget to thank VLG for being so insufferable it collapsed the last forum eventually giving rise to this version
Nate… offer a stripper room and take a fee off the top like a pimp and you will not only not need ads or a monthly fee but you could get rich off all these guys…
