No, some just don’t hand out trophies for completing a bunch of 2 yard passes that a very gifted runner then runs for 14 yards. QBR aside, I’d bet the Bears feel better about their future at QB than we do ours. The book on Fields is yet to be written. The book on Goff IMHO is closed and we are just treading water until we can replace him.
maybe because Matt was not a POS QB, how soon we forget how bad the defense was through his career in Detroit. How soon we forget Stafford gets people like Patricia & BQ running things and many other clowns in Stafford’s time here, and how we had WR’s that lead the League in dropping footballs for back to back seasons, not to mention, how damn long it took to assemble a able RB unit , and 0-16. no, Matt wasn’t perfect & he made mistakes that cost us wins, but he wasn’t very close to the reason we floundered as a team for 12 years !
