The big question is do you opt for a crappy version of the two high soft shell defense or degenerate chaos seeking press man and tons of blitzing like 2023. I think those are the two options.

Fair, but a lot of us did. My concern with him was would he stick to the run game. Being under Dan, I hoped that would happen.
Then when McDaniel went to Harbaugh, I thought for sure Jim would help McDaniel stick to the run. It doesn’t matter, that team is a mess.

The Vikings run situation is donkey balls. Their QB situation is 1 donkey ball.
Packers offense is donkey balls and the D is close to same w/o Parsons.
Bears D is donkey balls.
Our dbackfield is donkeyballs.
We and the Bears can outscore our donkeyballishness. The Vikings can D their way to dealing with their donkeyballishness.

The Vikings will likely win the division. They are the only ones with a top 3 unit on either side of the ball. The Bears do too, but now that looks hazy. The Lions have the worst defense in the NFL, and GB just kind of looks like a team that the coach has lost. Should be close, like;
10-7 9-8 9-8 8-9 sort of division and I think Minnesota’s def will carry them to wins like today.

Exactly. This was a game where the best D and fewest mistakes would determine the winner. There was a reason the score was so low. I would hate to see OUR offense playing in those conditions. It would be FUgly

Yep, and he is supposed to “excel” in bad weather games. He sucked. It’s another game below 60% passing, he had 5 yards per completion and he threw a terrible pick doing his roll right and chuck it routine. In other words, it was one of his usual games.
Let’s look at a fair comparison of 2 guys playing in similar conditions.
QB A - 11/20, 143 yards, 55% completion percentage, 7.15 ypc, 0TD, 0INT, 3 sacks, 77.7 rating
QB B - 15/26, 138 yards, 55.7% completion percentage, 5.31 ypc, 0TD, 1INT, 3 sacks, 56.2 rating.
One of these guys is a “superstar”. The other is a journeyman backup.
