SOUP PLAYOFFS - Round 3

My personal top 4 are:
Chicken and dumplings
Tom Yum Goong
French Onion
Chili

Of those, I’ll eat chili more in a year that the others.

Last meal, chicken and dumplings
Freeze & reheat, chili
Alternative to salad, French Onion
Flavor explosion, Tom Yum

That’s an amazing breakdown. There’s so many ways to view favorite…

Last Meal favorite? Entire Meal? Alternative? Flavor? Favorite when you’re sick? Favorite when it’s cold, etc. etc.

I buy 2-3 heads of broc a week. I cut the floret tops off, and separate those into ready to use bits for omelettes and stir fries (or as hummus vehicles as Jman noted somewhere).

You take the rest - the big main stalk - and cut it into bits, add it to a pot of water with some chopped garlic and whatever spices you like, add some cream (or corn starch) to thicken, and then some aged cheddar.

That’s how I make broc soup, anyway. It’s takes like five minutes to prep broc for a week this way. Another five for some red peppers.

Broccoli in rice with Soy Sauce is unmatched.

Homemade stir fry for the win

Then you get into a thickness argument and it goes off the rails imo. Just change the title to stews/soups.

Nah then I gotta include Ramen, Goulash, all that other stuff too.

Another train wreck by your buddy Jman

32 teamer next year! It’ll be 64 by next year’s NCAA tournament.

@Air2theThrown is going to do the 64 tournament using automobiles.
