Yes, rare to see it.
You have to love the sonic boom setting off the car alarms.
That was my favorite plane as a kid. Had the Cobra Command GI Joe version. Saw it on the ground at a couple air shows.

I had a math teacher who used to work in the Pentagon. On one of the film rolls from a Blackbird going over the USSR, they had a photo where the Soviets had written ■■■■YOU on the ground in giant letters. They couldn’t stop the overflights, but they weren’t going to be quiet about it. My teacher’s department asked if they could blow up that image and put it on display in their office. The No Fun Police wouldn’t let them do it.

One of clients back in the Corporate Jackal days was a ground team guy on SR-71s.
Can confirm that the wings/gas tanks were not flush and that fuel came out until it got so hot the metal expanded to seal it clippin along at Mach 3…
That plane grew by 9 inches when it heated up all the way…
