Stafford Needs Everything to be Perfect

Two INTs, one took away a score, plus a pick six. Then he fumbled the ball away with 2:30 left when they were on the edge of FG range.

Fire the GM, the HC, and Stafford. It’s over. They suck. Oops, I thought he was still with the Lions.

Fumble was bad, and on him, for sure.
One of the picks was bad as well.
Tipped balls happen.
I HATE seeing Chicago in first place. I think that’ll hold up for about 10 minutes.
Ben has been better than I thought, and Caleb has been better than I thought.
Still hate it. LOL.

Your point is spot on!

They barely had a run game even. 150 yards and only 6 yards per carry. Really got to help Matt out more.

Yeah, but, I thought Stafford…

Oh, no. That was Mahomes…

Or, was it Jackson?

One one of those guys could elevate a team just by being in the vicinity.

All 3 could miss the playoffs

Hold on. Stafford pick 6? That puts him 1 behind Favre all-time.

They were at the Panthers 22 - well within FG range.

You will never win with Stafford. The guy wire his hat backwards for crying out loud.

He had a typical Goff bad game. Two int’s, one a pick 6 and a lost fumble. Rough. I knew someone here would start a thread on it  The insecuirty you guys have with Goff shows.

I thought ben will be like McDaniels ,I think his staffs are good ,that helps . Defense playing well always helps the head coach

We might beat Pittsburg because we are good beating back up QBs , also we dominate against older QBs like flacco and rodgers

Almost as predictable as every time Jared has a bad game the cockroaches come out of the woodwork. BTW, Stafford has 30 pick sixes since 2009 (dominating all current QBs), while Jared has nine since 2017. Since joining the Lions, Goff has one pick six in the regular season. But yeah, they are the same. :joy:. Also BTW, Brett Favre has the most with 32. If Matt played as long as Brett, he would shatter the record. There’s still an outside chance even if he retires this year.

It’s not insecurity. It’s pointing out the blatant hypocrisy when it comes to poster opinions about qbs.

No, the problem is Goff goes 20 for 26 for 256 with 2 TDs and no INTs with a very leaky line and no LaPorta or St Brown and people here want to blame him for losing the game. Every time we scored, the D let GB march down and score and we couldn’t hardly run the ball.

How can you not see what’s wrong with this picture? As I type this, I again realize how ridiculous it is that I actually have to try to explain this to people that are supposed understand football AND are, in theory, Lions fans…:expressionless_face:

The Panthers are one of the more perplexing teams in the league. I can’t figure out if they suck or are becomimg good.

Don’t worry, they have no idea either.

They seem to rotate being ass or playing decent each week

When you say “TYPICAL” Goff bad game… could you elaborate? He’s bad 3 games with 3 or more turnovers in Detroit

Dallas in 22’

Chicago in 23’

Houston in 24’

0 times in 2025

PS- Stanford has an NFL record 23 games with 3 or more turnovers-

PSS-

— Goff has just 38 games under 79.9 rating out of 146… 26% bad ratio

—- Goff has 32 “Hero” games over 120 rating out of 146… 23% Hero ratio

— Stafford has 66 games under 79.9 rating out of 233… a 29% bad game ratio

—- Stafford also has 32 “Hero” games, but it took 233 games to get there… 14% Hero ratio

I think we should let Goff play til 33 years of age before we fully compare… I think he has his ring by then

BTW-

Josh Allen has 43 of 122 starts with under a 79.9 ratings… 35.2% bad game ratio

Josh has had a 16% hero passer ratio with just 20 games over a 120 rating

He can do it with his legs better than anyone but still…
