Virginia TE Jelani Woods is now #1 most athletic tight end prospect EVER!
At Pro Day, Woods added to awesome Combine with the follow numbers
VJ: 37.5
BJ: 10’9
SS: 4.22
3C: 6.91
All would’ve been #1 at TE at NFL Combine Scored a 10 win RAS

We should draft him at 2. lol
Matt Millen would!
I think Vernon Davis would have a lot to say about that
VJ:42
BJ:10’7
SS:4.17
3C:6.97
Also: 4.39 40 yard dash. Woods ran a 4.6
Also: 33 reps on the bench. Woods did 24
Can he catch a ball?
This guy sure couldn’t!!
Calvin Johson
6’5" 239 lbs
VJ 42.5"
BJ 11’7"
4.35 forty
Might as well have been a TE with the abuse he took.
Bob Quinn wouldn’t because he runs to fast. lol
Jelani Woods is a complete TE. There’s quite a few in this draft that don’t reach his numbers but are very adept at catching and blocking. We need depth, it was said that we wanted to move to a 12 personnel last season but how do you do that when you only have 1 NFL caliber TE? Trey McBride, you might have just gotten pushed back in the draft.
I wonder what Kellen windslow sr would have tested at the combine. Or a guy like John Mackey.
We should draft him at 2. lol
We should trade up to 1OA no matter the cost.
TE is the last position this team should be worried about
Ironically, unlike Mayhew & Quinn, both of whom drafted TEs in the top 10, Millen only drafted 2 TEs the entire time he was GM—both in 2002. John Owens in Rd 5 and Matt Murphy in Rd 7–the latter’s main contribution was to commit a false start penalty thereby negating a sack by the Bears which would’ve ended the game. The penalty allowed Hanson’s game tying FG with 2 seconds left to send the game into OT, which the Lions then won 23-20.

We need more Matt Murphy’s on this team.
This one died in 2018, he was pretty good though, came in off the bench and played for the Blue’s Brothers…

and Mike Gesicki as well…

Mike Williams was heavier that most TE’s, that counts in my book! haha

Junior on the other hand
