Teams trade up for other positions than just qb

Most are saying QB for teams to trade up. The steelers traded up from 20 into top 10 for LBer. I think detroit may be able to trade back if they want with teams looking at more than just QB

Falcons traded up 21 spots to get Julio Jones.

Usually the best trades come from teams seeking a QB.

If QB goes 1-4 I think a team could trade up for a CB or an OT and maybe even Pitts.

It’s possible but less likely is all.

Sewell presents an option for teams to trade up. He’s that good of a prospect at a premium position. Pitts is also a guy I could see a trade up for - simply because he’s a unicorn. Maybe Parsons but that seems like a stretch that high when he may be available later anyway. It’s true that teams do trade up for something other than a QB, but it’s got to be for the right prospect. Sewell and Pitts being on the board gives the Lions the best chance.
