Wow I know he had a rough year because of the O line but dang. Didn’t see that happening.

Feels very late tbh

He was really bad this year, and its crazy, cause last year he was a hot commodity for HC

Great, another team looking for an OC this cycle. And with a good young QB

Hopefully they go after one of the Kubiak bros

Makes sense.

What’s AG & Ben doing for OC I lost track of the rumors now

Seems like everyone wants Caley. Gotta wait for that domino to fall first. Wouldn’t be surprised if this news made it take longer to fall as he interviews in Houston.

This late, makes me think they already have their dude lined up.

How long do you wait before moving on? It’s going to become obvious you got your second choice.

Thats a very strange move.

Idk what they expected to happen when your entire OL and 2 of your top 3 receivers die

Also fired their OL coach. Maybe Fraley becomes a candidate here.

I can’t remember an OC who had such a violent swing in reputation in a matter of months.

As of August he was literally the next big thing and now he’s a punchline.

Byron Leftwich?

It’s an appropriate correction though, he should not have been the next big thing last year. His uninventiveness was pretty clear, especially on 1st down, and all the OL issues really made it clear. In fact the pendulum’s probably swung too far the other way at this point, but at least it’s on the correct side of vertical.

Lesson learned here. Never hire an OC who is a little slow.

Does a similar fate await Zac Robinson?

It might, for sure. Gotta see him with Penix though. Scheming for Kirk limited his playbook quite a bit, I’m sure. Certainly the offense looked more explosive after the switch.
