This is Kova, the new bane of my cats and the crusher of human laps. She firmly believes that any dog can be a lap dog, because every human has a lap that can support 80 pounds of dog. Her paperwork calls her Rottweiler mix. Whatever she got mixed with didn’t do much to dilute the Rottweiler in her.

We have 2 aussies, a boy and a girl, and have been looking at puppies… My older boy is 10 and the younger one is super anxious, wanted to add a 3rd before he gets too old and has no tolerance for puppy energy in the house. We think once he eventually passes (hopefully many years down the road) the younger one will be lost without her brother.

Rotts are great dogs that can sometimes get a bad rap. my best friend had four of them that I know of, one died of old age-a female , the next one was poisoned by an ex neighbor of his that didn’t happen to like that dog at all, Dogs name was Rottie I had to help bury that moose. then they got another male named Cheko he ended up running off, and once they moved to Arkansas - they have another female, Maisy…good dogs.

We brought her home on Thursday, so we are still in that phase of getting a feel for her wants and needs. The rescue thinks she is around a year and a half old. She still has a lot of puppy energy but takes commands well.
