See it’s more about the community that we have all become a part of over the years @Tcmouse. Yes! The Den is for us very hard core Lions fans, it’s what brought us together.
It’s also become a place where many of us like to talk about other subjects. Unfortunately your filters are giving you issues. Hopefully you can get that remedied.

Great post and so true, I had one opinion when I started this topic looking at things one way, but after hearing people’s points of view and others helping me try to navigate around it. With the Dens guidance I realize how many like it . I was thinking it takes way from the board being special. After reading everyone and then the top off of wolfhound really good post.
What makes this place the Den and special is the people here. It’s the community. Sorry for not getting that , when I started this post.

However, you being a jockey is what I appreciate the most.
I just started riding three years ago and just love riding out here in Colorado. We have a few horses now and it’s become a passion of mine. I can walk, trot, canter out on the trails, but still have a ton to learn and work on. As you know there’s a big difference between being a rider and a passenger.
I just told my trainer today that I want to gallop. I’m ready to hit the next gear…or set of gears.
I know what you do takes a big set of balls…. like Dan Campbell in a wheel barrow set of plums.

Audie and Phantom
Audie is the buckskin. The original owner liked Audie Murphy as a western movie star from the 50’s.
I knew who he was due to watching “To Hell and Back” which was a movie about his heroism during WWII (he played himself in the movie). He was the most decorated soldier of WWII and was 5 foot nothing and a hundred and nothing pounds. Small but mighty

Thank you Bro , being able to make a living doing what you love was a blessing, I have been blessed. Horses are great they all have personalities like people. I used to Gallup 27 horses every morning. Just awesome going out in the morning galloping with the sunrise. Horses can be very rewarding. Glad to hear you enjoy them. And have a ton of respect for you also. Your post was just spot on , sometimes we all need reminded of things. Den Brothers to the Bone bro.

Love the buckskin, I started out riding Quarter horses that shit fun, no thinking just like drag racing give all you have from start to finish , whipping and driving. Lol looks like a nice place.

Yeah it’s sloppy today. A system set up over us the last day or so and got things a bit messy around here. Typically these runs are sandy.

I actually come here more often during the Lion’s off-season now because of the expanded topics for the other teams. Lion topics still dominate but you just might need to scroll a couple of extra lines. Lions dominate this board in-season, during the draft, and for any important events throughout the year.
