Yep thats why he should be gone. You can not go public saying 9-7 isnt good enough and fire the only winning coach we have had in decades. Then put this on the field not one but 2 years in a row. When Quinn made that statement he put them in must do better situation and this is not even close to better.

Wes whats your opinion , i mean i tired of changing coaches and systems, see gimps some weeks but alot of really bad too.

I don’t like first time HC’s so I never would have hired Patricia to begin with. That being said, I’d be more than happy to show him the door. BUT, if they want to keep him on ONE more year I can see a case where that might be called for. But Paul P has to go. Patricia either needs to run the defense and bring in an experienced guy to help run the team, or Patricia needs to keep running the team and have someone experienced run the defense.
I give Quinn one more coaching hire unless there is someone very specific that suddenly becomes available to replace him with OR if we stick with Patricia for year 3 and he falters and Quinn decides to keep Patricia for year 4. At that point I tie Quinn’s fate to Patricia.
Personally I think the Patricia experiment has pretty much run its course. He’s brought some good ideas to the table to take with us going forward, but Detroit is one of the worst cities to try to bring the “Patriot Way” to. I think we would be much better served with an Eagles style of “we love you, let’s go have some fun.”

Fans said the same thing about Schwartz and he’s suppose to be the hot HC candidate this offseason.
I had my issues with Caldwell but he did win.
Biggest issue with Caldwell for me was those under him. He couldn’t fix the run game and was loyal to people who needed to go.
