The Lions are 9-15-1 since Quinn said 9-7 wasn't good enough

We’ve led in every single game this season and the closest thing to a “blowout” we’ve experienced was a game that was 35-30 with 2 minutes left in the game.

We were a blown call in Dallas away from winning our first playoff game since 1991.

This current team isn’t anywhere near playoff-caliber. Even with a healthy Stafford.

That was Caldwell’s first and best year. We literally opened the following year losing 6 of our first 7 games. I guess its fitting, because the year before Caldwell took over we ended the season losing 6 of our last 7 games.

Shit, you’re right.

We lost to the Saints under Schwartz, but we did make that game interesting for a while.

They were also more talented.

In fact, we expect to lose to teams we should easily beat, and beat teams we have no business in the same arena with.

Next week I believe the Cowboys are going to throttle us.

My guess is they actually…throttle us.

Were we never going to go to Seattle and beat the Seahawks or we were going to do just that, but the NFL said and dictated the Cowboys were to beat the Lions so they could have the Cowboys vs the Packers at Lambeau for the divisional round ? It’s hard to beat Seattle in Seattle when the NFL has other plans.

The reality with pro sports is that being anything but a fair weather fan is a huge waste of time.

From the owner to the GM to the coaches to the players. They are all being PAID from hundreds of millions in increase in valuation to tens of millions over their career.

What exactly do you get? You pay for this bullshit.

If they get their act together, go watch. Until then, you are actually happy paying to suffer?

BQ is a joke. He hired a bigger joke. We will be having another top 10 draft, and if that doesn’t get you fired, then lion’s will never be good.

If that’s the case then why didn’t the NFL order the Cowboys to beat the Packers? I mean the Cowboys are the leagues biggest draw and a call that should have been a TD was reversed against the leagues biggest draw.

So leading for a 1/2 in every game but losing is ok. And were not getting blown out yet we collapse every week and loose and thats ok. Check

Because the backlash after the way the Cowboys beat us and the Ref involvement & shady way it went down & with multiple sports networks seeing the same way & with PFT and Florio as well as others saying if the Cowboys were to go on and win it all an asterisk should be put next to the Championship the NFL could not have that , I said as much as well before the IceBowl 2 , if the Cowboys keep it close the NFL will pull the rug out from under them, they cant have the Championship game with an underlying belief that the league was in play or that Dallas did not deserve to be there and have it be a topic . I think the league figured it would be same ole , same ole the Lions get ■■■■■■ and no one cares but that is not what happened & they needed the storyline to end

I don’t believe that for a second

I never said it was ok. I was giving it as a reason I’m not ready to pull the rip cord at Allen Park.

Being 1 of 3 teams to have had a lead in every game says we are not finishing, I hope that a little better health and adding a few playmakers will help us do just that.

im starting to understand, 9-7 is not good enough, but 6-10 is better if you have the lead in every game and u dont get blown out.
you say were not finishing , but QB’s are avg 100 plus QB rating and were giving up 150 yrds on the ground every game. one might say were not even starting let alone finishing.

My IQ just dropped 10 points for reading this

yeah thats how i feel when i read but we lead in every game and we don’t get blown out.

No obviously you don’t understand and I don’t expect you to.

See unlike you I was simply giving MY reasons why I’m not ready to cut bait.

You feel differently and so be it. The difference is I don’t feel the need to argue every one of your points like you do to everyone like it’s some sort of Olympic sport.

Okay , you explain it then …Why does a clear penalty that was called on the field (PI) vs Pettigrew get announced to the crowd , the ball then marked at the spot of the foul a first down announced , a ref then stop suddenly while walking, reach up with one hand to block one ear (like he is listening to someone, even though that was not taking place back then) and then go and pick the ball up, move it back to the original line of scrimmage, single the clock to start and make no announcement to the crowd and say no flag on the play 4th down ? Why no penalty on Dez Bryant for coming out on to the field to argue the call when that year any player who was not on the field who enters the field to argue a call and with no helmet gets an unsportsmanlike penalty? They called every time all year long making it emphasis , but not on that play . Why on the Dallas winning drive were they given 3 first downs by penalty when they failed to convert on 3rd down and why on Romo’s TD throw was Suh mugged clear as day a no call …? Explain this away?
When you can’t, then tell me how my reason is not plausible for why Dallas lost the next week in Greenbay …I’ll wait
