It’s really hard not to love that guy

I love the man, I like his analysis, but man do I struggle with the ā€œhumorā€ videos.

And it’s not like I don’t think he’s clever or funny. I appreciate those elements of his personality when he’s Pack casting. I think it may be that the jerseys videos are very social media video style of format and I in general loathe that sh!t. But as they say, there’s no disputing taste.

Yeah, not my favorite entertainment format either, but he does it better than most. He’s just got a really intuitive read of the neuroses of the rest of the division’s fanbases. Or maybe it’s not intuitive… empathetic? He gets it, more or less. I do think this one was playing on the popularity of the Branch cut-out AND his own trials a little more specifically than most, but that’s fine. I hope we take his favorite guys again.

I love the guy. Great human being. And he is talented.

It’s more so my Ted Kaczynski (w/o the bombing of course) technology ruins everything bent. To me that style of video conveys social media dystopia in all of its grand malevolence. Annie Agar’s videos as well. Sincere apologies to all of my den mates that want to ā– ā– ā– ā–  her.

I like Grossi’s stuff much better than hers, but I also think there are far more telling examples of social media’s malevolence.

Sure. Namely the companies themselves.

And I’m not saying that Annie isn’t pretty or without talent. Her comedic timing seems pretty good in my novice opinion.

It’s just not for me.

I’ve been dealing with this furious disdain of the Packers since the Favre to Sharpe game. I mean, I’ve gotten angry just seeing a random person in
My town wearing those god awful colors.
I’ve worked with people who our Packers fans, and I legitimately avoid them at all costs. Not fair to them, but I am getting better.
But this guy… there’s hope. Easy Grossi fan here.

Yes, I knew there was a name for it.

Yeah, he basically says the same thing and makes the same faces e every week.

I am personally impressed, because comedy is really, really hard.

It is just not easy to be consistently humorous, stay ā€˜on brand’ for your topic area, and constantly think up new stuff while also not being ā€˜stale.’

As a casual viewer of funny stuff, I realize that most of the things that actually reach my eyeballs are the best of what’s available. Like, I don’t see 98% of the people/content trying to make comedy. I am generally seeing only the best folks on TV, in movies, etc.

So even when it doesn’t ā€˜hit’ for me personally, I give the entertainers a lot of credit. Because it’s really hard!

That’s a bit of a tandem, but in short, I like Grossi’s stuff. (:

I don’t watch any of these YouTubers that much but really enjoy Grossi.

That’s funny I only know him for the humor videos.

If we end up with Mykel Williams this video will age incredibly well. I hope we do!

Grossi does a GREAT job of capturing exactly what the majority of Lions fans are feeling.

Yeah, that’s why I stopped watching. Too repetitive. He’s pretty good if you’ve never seen his stuff before.

Yes, i still quite like him though.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I think it was David Spade. He said Dan could walk into any penitentiary cafeteria in the country and throw his tray down to eat at any table and nobody would say a word. It was so real and so funny I am laughing as I write it

Dana Carvey on Dan Campbell?
